Four Wildcats Earn Heart All-Conference Honors

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Baker baseball was represented by four players on the 2023 Heart Baseball All-Conference Teams with Quinton Graham, Camden Karlin, Peyton Lewis and Caden Pogue all landing on the league's postseason list.

Graham earned a spot on the second team after leading the club in hitting with a .400 average and scoring a team-high 31 runs in the regular season. The senior outfielder smacked three home runs in a five-game stretch in March and recorded 16 multi-hit outings over the course of the year.

Karlin, Lewis and Pogue each received honorable-mention honors with Karlin and Lewis both playing in over 40 games for BU, while Pogue led the team in strikeouts with 70 K's in 78.2 innings pitched.

The Wildcats went 19-12 record in conference play this spring, marking their second straight season with 18 or more wins. They defeated top-seeded Central Methodist and reached the semifinals of the 2023 Heart Baseball Conference Tournament last weekend.
