Knaussman, Paden Named NAIA Dance All-Americans

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Coming off the Wildcats' exciting third-place finish at the NAIA Championships last weekend, Baker dancers Katelyn Knaussman and Wrenn Paden were named 2024 NAIA Competitive Dance All-Americans as the organization announced its postseason honors on Thursday.

Knaussman, a junior from Shawnee, Kan., earned second-team honors, while Paden, a junior from Lawrence, Kan., was selected to the third team. Both BU dancers were among the nine Wildcats to receive all-conference recognition after helping lead Baker to take third at the Heart Championships back in early March.

Making the program's eighth straight appearance at the national competition, the Baker dance team took home third-place honors at the 2024 Nfinity NAIA Competitive Dance National Championships on Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich. It marked the Wildcats' highest finish at the NAIA competition since 2016-17 when Baker also placed third.

Continuing with the postseason, the Wildcats will shift their attention to the 2024 DTU College Classic, which takes place on April 11-13 in Orlando, Fla.
