Wildcats Earn Pair of Top-Four Finishes in Weekend Doubleheader

FREMONT, Neb./DES MOINES, Iowa - After opening up their season with a second-place finish last weekend, the Baker dance squad brought home another runner-up finish from Saturday's Midland Invite before placing fourth overall at the Viking Challenge on Sunday.

The Wildcats kicked off their weekend in Fremont, Neb., where they posted a score of 80.27 to earn a second-place finish. They finished just ahead of third-place Hope International (77.77), while the hosts Midland claimed first-place honors.

Competing in Des Moines, Iowa on Sunday, the Wildcats came out on top in both of their duals of the Viking Challenge. First, they edged by Morningside with an 83.55-81.75 victory in their first dual of the competition before defeating Campbellsville by a score of 84.70-74.30. Overall, BU finished fourth in the team standings with a combined score of 168.25.

Baker will be back in action with the MNU Duals on February 15 in Olathe, Kan.
