Paden Earns Heart Dancer of the Week Honors

BALDWIN CITY - Senior Wrenn Paden of the Baker dance team was named this week's Heart Dancer of the Week, following her performance in the Wildcats' first-place showing at their annual Baker Classic.

Paden helped lead the Wildcats to claim first-place honors at their annual home competition on Saturday with BU marking a score of 85.50 to win the dance title by nearly 14 points. S

The senior from Lawrence, Kan. was one of six BU seniors who were recognized on Senior Day on Saturday and became the second Wildcat to earn Heart Dancer of the Week this season after teammate and fellow senior Zach Bejarano won the award back in late January.

Paden and the Wildcats will turn their attention to the 2025 Heart of America Conference Cheer and Dance Championships, hosted by MidAmerica Nazarene this year, with the conference competition set for Saturday, March 8 at 9:30 a.m. in Olathe, Kan.
