
Wildcats Earn Seventh-Place Finish at 2025 NAIA Dance Championships
YPSILANTI, Mich. - Making its ninth appearance at nationals, the Baker dance team came away with a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Nfinity NAIA Competitive Dance National Championship on Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich.
The Wildcats earned an overall score of 76.71, finishing less than two points behind sixth-place Doane (78.63) for their fifth top-seven showing of the past six national competitions. Midland took home the NAIA title with a final tally of 92.24, while fellow Heart of America school Grand View (88.40) placed third.
On Friday, BU finished its first performance in Ypsilanti with a first-round score of 76.33 which positioned the Wildcats in seventh ahead of Saturday's finale.
The Wildcats finish off an NAIA competition season that saw them earn runner-up honors at the Heart of America Conference Championships earlier this month and secure their ninth straight appearance at the NAIA Championships.
Continuing with the postseason, Baker will turn its attention to the 2025 DTU College Classic, which takes place on April 12-13 in Orlando, Fla.
