Scarpa Named Heart Esports Rocket League Player of the Week

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - John Scarpa of the Baker Esports team was selected as the Heart Esports Rocket League Player of the Week following his performance in the Wildcats' 3-0 victory against Clarke last week.

As the final honoree of the conference's weekly award, Scarpa provided the Wildcats with five goals, four assists and three saves in their three-game sweep of the Pride on Thursday. He also took 15 shots in the match to give BU its third win of the Rocket League season.

Baker wrapped up its inaugural Rocket League campaign with a pair of matches against Clarke and Missouri Valley this past Thursday. The Wildcats went 3-4 this year with two of their wins coming in the last two weeks of the season.
