
Baker Men’s Golf Kicks Off Fall Season at NAIA Midwest Invite
SILVIS, Ill. - After seeing the women's team begin their season earlier this month, the Baker men's golf team opened up its 2024 fall campaign with the NAIA Midwest Invite, held at TPC Deere Run on Monday and Tuesday.
The Wildcats shot +76 for the tournament and took 16th overall in the 24-team field, improving their score with a +35 on Tuesday's final round.
Keegan Feder and Gavin Dines paced the BU men with Feder shooting a 155 and coming in tied for 41st, while Dines followed with a 157 and took 49th. Both golfers shot a 77 on their final round.
Drew Lisec finished tied for 65th after shooting 161 for the tournament, while Ben Lemke (T-106) and Andrew Burdett (T-109) rounded out the day for the Wildcats with Lemke tallying a score of 173 and Burdett with a 177.
Both Baker teams will be back in action next time out on the course with the 2024 Virginia McCoy Invite, hosted by Park, on Oct. 7-8 at The National Golf Club in Parkville, Mo.
