Bio

Chris Gilbert enters his second year as the head men’s and women’s golf coach for the 2023-24 season.

In his first year with the Wildcats, Gilbert boasted a conference champion and national qualifier in Mia Tovkach, who won the individual title at the 2023 Heart Women’s Golf Championship.

Gilbert came to Baker after spending two seasons at the University of Kansas where he served as a volunteer assistant coach for both golf teams.

Joining the staff before the 2016-17 season, Gilbert served as an assistant coach at Washington State University and helped the Cougars to back-to-back championships at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate tournament.

Gilbert graduated from the University of Kansas in 2013, where he played golf and was a two-time Individual Medalist, a two-time Individual NCAA Regional selection, a member of the All-Big 12 Tournament Team in 2013 and a PING Central Region Team selection.
