BALDWIN CITY - The Baker men's and women's cross country teams each came away with a first-place finish at the 2024 Mike Spielman Classic, hosted by the Wildcats, on Friday evening to close out the regular season.

Aidan Massey (25:44.32) came out on top on the men's side for his second straight individual title, leading a pack of 46 runners. Massey, who was named Heart Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week earlier this week, took first at the Billy Mills Invite last weekend.

Davis finished in fourth and McGlasson took seventh, while Fink and Meade came in ninth and 10th, respectively.
Ellie Barnard led things for BU in the women's 6K race with Barnard placing second on a new personal-best time of 24:15.06. Kristi Chambers followed (24:37.46) right behind in third and Peyton Peterson (24:53.52) rounded out the top five with a fifth-place finish.
