Miller Earns Second Straight Heart Bowler of the Week Award

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the second straight week, senior Kinsey Miller was selected Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Bowler of the Week following her performance for the Baker women's bowling team at the NAIA West Tournament this past weekend.

With the Wildcats hosting two separate tournaments in Lawrence, Kan., Miller finished atop the leaderboard in Saturday's competition after knocking down 1,095 pins in five games for an average of 219. Then, on Sunday, the Emporia, Kan. native added a third-place finish after totaling 1,348 pins for a scoring average of 192.6.

Miller picked up her first conference bowler of the week honor after placing third at the Eagle Open on Jan. 27-28.

The Baker bowling teams head to their final regular-season competition this weekend with a trip to the Hoosier Championship on Feb. 10-11 in Indianapolis.
