Women’s Soccer Earns 13 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker women's soccer team had a total of 13 players receive Daktronics NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete honors as the national office announced the list of honorees on Friday.

The Wildcats were among a group of 1,443 women's soccer student-athletes that received the prestigious award.

Representing Baker were student-athletes Macie Albright, Lydia Brinker, Darcy Cato, Taylor Evans, Annika Munch, Cate Nearmyer, Kat Sargent, Emma Schieber, Kendall Staley, Kaycee Tanner, Lilly Utz, Bella Wiles and Caitlin Youles.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
