Bio

Adam Ludwin joins the BU women’s wrestling team staff for the 2023-24 season with a wealth of Freestyle wrestling knowledge and experience. Ludwin has been heavily involved with Freestyle his entire life, winning three All-American honors in Fargo for Team Arizona, and placing 4th in the Junior World Team Trials. Ludwin was a resident at the Olympic Training Center and ultimately earned a silver medal in the Pan-American Games.

Winning two state championships in high school in Yuma, Ludwin was one of his school’s best ever competitors. He was a three-time State Placer and two-time State Champion, and ended being ranked #28 in the nation at 119 pounds.

Ludwin competed for Fort Hays State University as a four-year starter. He was a NCAA Division II National Qualifier, wrestling to the “bloodround” at the national tournament. He was the first wrestler to earn over 100 career wins and at one point, reached as high as #6 in the national rankings.

Ludwin moved back to Kansas City in 2017 to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020. In 2021, he opened WIN Chiropractic. He also serves as head girls coach for Tonganoxie High School.
