Bio

Andrew Morgan returns to Baldwin City and Baker University to join the women’s wrestling staff for the 2023-24 season. Morgan attended Baldwin High School, where he is one of the most decorated wrestlers in BHS history. He began his collegiate career at Benedictine College before coming to Baker University.

In high school in Baldwin, Morgan wrestled for Coach Kit Harris and was a four-time State Qualifier, a two-time State Placer, winning a individual State Championship his senior season. He also earned All-American honors at USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals, placing 5th. He is currently 9th on the BHS All-Time Wins list with 126 wins.

Morgan has been coaching at Blue Valley Southwest, helping the Timberwolves earn three 5A State trophies. He has helped coach multiple State Champions and State Placers at BVSW.

Morgan, who works as a police officer for the Lawrence Police Department, lives in Baldwin City with his wife Chessica and daughter Addison and son Jordan.
