Bio

Kit Harris begins his first season as the head women’s wrestling coach at Baker for the 2023-24 season.

As a 1995 BU graduate, Harris returns to the Baker University campus after spending 28 years as head wrestling coach at Baldwin High School and Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kan. He is the first-ever Kansas coach to win both a boys and a girls team state championship. He coached Baldwin teams to two 4A State championships and a third-place trophy, in addition to nine other top-10 team finishes. During his tenure there, Baldwin also won 12 Regional team championships and 11 League championships.

Harris lives in Baldwin with his wife Sarah of 27 years. They have three children, sons Cael and Ty, and daughter Malin.
