Baker Football Earns 12 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker football program had 12 players earn 2023 Daktronics NAIA Football Scholar-Athlete honors as the national office announced the list of honorees on Thursday.

The Wildcats were among a group of 968 football student-athletes, spread across 79 schools, that received the prestigious award.

Representing Baker were student-athletes Aidan Palmer, Andrew Williams, Beaux Coleman, Cooper Monson, Jeff Moore, Jesse Duckworth, Reese Holaday, Sean Urban, Seth Dankenbring, Shane Skwarlo, Thad Metcalfe and Zac Kramer.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
